The Castro Theatre proudly presents a special 25th Anniversary screening of the groundbreaking movie musical Hedwig & The Angry Inch! Adapted from the critically acclaimed off-Broadway rock theater hit, Hedwig and the Angry Inch tells the story of the “internationally ignored” rock singer Hedwig and her search for stardom and love.

Presented in glorious 35 mm, this screening event will feature an in-person appearance and live musical performance from writer, star, and director John Cameron Mitchell, accompanied by the Bay Area’s own all-queer rock band Skip The Needle as “The Angry Inch.”
